The walk way is shared with cars and the uni bus and when they are passing through there is nowhere to move out of the way but a bit of muddy ground. This is a massive issue for everyone especially anyone with mobility issues. It's very unsafe and leaves a bad impression on potential students on Open days. If you have an anecdote about this or want to share your opinion, please email me at art.media@derbyunion.co.uk

11:28am on 16 Oct 19 I remember walking on the path for the first time. I turned around and there was a bus mere feet from me. I laugh about it now but at the time I thought I was going to be run over!

12:57pm on 16 Oct 19 Walking this route, especially with headphones can definitely be a risk when cars are around, so it would be great to have some sort of safe pathway for pedestrians.

11:42am on 25 Oct 19 This is something the University is looking to try and resolve, however the road is council owned which limits what they can do to resolve it. I am aware that they are trying to arrange a meeting with the highways department to see if there is anything that they can do in partnership to rectify the issues at hand. A further update will be provided when there is more information.
