    Saturday Buses for Markeaton ParkRun

    The union has been advertising Markeaton ParkRun, which is a weekly FREE 5k run- it's for all ages, levels of fitness, and is mostly just to have fun and socialise. Weekly exercise has been shown to be great for MH as well. It takes place at 9am on a Saturday, and as a student living in Derby Centre, it means an hour's walk there and back, or a 35 taxi, which is the only thing stopping me. If there was a bus at 8.30/8.40 that did the #6 route, then at 10/10.30, I'm sure participation would soar!

4:19pm on 12 Jan 20 Great idea! Perhaps consider whether a group from Halls could walk together, to promote a warm-up before the run? Or car sharing, in the mean time.
