    Societies/Sports have access to room availability

    Societies are all rushing to book out rooms for their events. However, none of us know ahead of time if a room is available or not. Lecturers and the Union have access to see which rooms are free and when. Societies should have access to this so that we can know in advance, if a room is booked because of lectures that will be in that room at that time for the next 12 weeks or if it is a one off etc.

noon on 20 Jan 20 At present the access to room use and administration is only available to staff logins, which would make it quite tricky from a registry perspective to provide to committee members. Societies are always welcome to ask about room availability, which can be booked by us, or transferred to a Events Booking Form - which is processed by Info Point. We ask for these forms to be completed and returned to us by at least two weeks prior to the event, so we can secure the most suitable venues.
