    It’s great that Derby is a Fairtrade University & that through the Union, Fairtrade products are available to buy at Ked. Rd. However, the Union should be putting more staffing resource into Fairtrade initiatives beyond retail. Growing the University’s commitment to Fairtrade means more awareness raising, campaigning and educational events that draw an increasing number of students into the Fairtrade movement at all levels. It needs to become something for the majority, not the committed few.
