    when someone wants to join a society they most likely will have many questions and with the information given on the society website being extremely vague maybe more information can be provided. Of course, you can email the society with questions but from experience, it has been two months of radio silence so possibly more information about what specifically the society does within the actual website section.

3:10pm on 13 Jan 22 To whoever posted this, a live-chat would add way too much pressure on committee members (as it'd be for committee members to use, rather than all the members of a society). Whilst all societies have emails, the good majority also have social media accounts too - and with all of them, the societies are expected to reply in a quick manner too.
