    Every year the Union celebrates Black History Month, raises awareness around Ramadan, Eid, Diwali etc. It is well past time that we also recognised the struggles, contributions, and history of GRT communities. GRT people have faced historical discrimination and are still considered one of the most disadvantaged groups in society. GRT History Month takes place every June (a quiet time for universities) and the least we can do is to fly the GRT flag to raise awareness and show support.
