My Manifesto
Greetings, fellow global scholars.

My name is Vuyiswa Khumalo, I am an enthusiastic South African young lady currently studying the Global MBA and I'm thrilled to declare that I'm running for the role of International Students Officer. I have been awarded Manager of the year 2022, main reason behind my successful election was my diversity leadership skills. I believe that I gained that skill through my exposure of living and studying in different countries.
Being an international student myself, I am aware of the particular difficulties and experiences that come with studying elsewhere.

In the event that I am chosen, I pledge to stand up for our rights, create a welcoming environment, and improve the overall educational experience for international students at our university.
First and foremost, I think that representation is crucial. In my role as International Students Officer, I will actively represent our multicultural community and make sure that our opinions are taken into consideration during decision-making processes at all university levels. In order to make sure that every overseas student has the assistance they require to succeed both academically and personally, I will put in endless effort to solve concerns like visa support, cultural integration, and resource availability.

In addition, I have a strong desire to foster a feeling of community and connection among international students. I plan to host social events, workshops, and cultural events to honour diversity and enhance intercultural understanding. We can improve our college experience and make the campus a more welcoming place for everyone if we encourage relationships and friendships amongst people from diverse backgrounds.
Furthermore, I acknowledge the significance of offering pragmatic assistance to international pupils. I will collaborate closely with university administration to help us navigate immigration laws and obtain healthcare treatments. We will also receive comprehensive support services that are specifically designed to meet our needs. In order to provide international student organisations with the resources and assistance they need to be successful, I will also fight for more funding and support for us.

Above all, I pledge to serve as a devoted and personable advocate for all overseas students. I'll aggressively look for community involvement and feedback to make sure my priorities line up with your wants and worries. By working together, we can create a more welcoming and encouraging atmosphere that values our differences and gives us the tools we need to be successful.
I will advocate for enhanced support services for foreign students, including academic resources, housing aid, healthcare access, and visa assistance, aiding your success academically and promoting your rights within the campus community.
I aim to plan cultural events, workshops, and social activities to foster a sense of community among overseas students, celebrating diversity, fostering intercultural understanding, and easing loneliness and homesickness among us all.
I aim to improve academic and career support services for international students, promoting career development tools, academic advising, and language support programs.
