Hi Everyone!!!! My name is Jess Allen, I am going into my 5th year studying MBA Global.
Over the past 3 years, I have been fortunate to serve on the badminton committee, first as Social Secretary and for the last 2 years as secretary. I am excited to run for secretary for my third consecutive year, as I continue to work, to ensure the smooth running and success of the club.
Why am I Running for my 3rd year!!!!
Having been a veteran of the badminton committee, I have gained invaluable experience that has shaped my understanding of how to run a club efficiently and effectively. As secretary I have been at the heart of helping to organise events, manage communications and ensure that the committee functions smoothly.
For my final year at the university, I am more passionate than ever about helping us reach new heights.
Achievements So far:
- Team Collaboration: I have had the privilege of working alongside some incredible individuals on the committee, including supporting Abbie as president over the past 2 years. My experience on the sports council has provided me with insight into how committees should work together to achieve success.
- Event organisation: I have been lucky enough to part of several successful over the years, from club socials to inter-university tournaments. I have a great understanding of event logistics and what makes an event run smoothly.
My Vision:
If re-elected as secretary, I promise to continue to build on the strong foundation that we as a current committee have established.
- Enhanced Communication – I will continue to ensure clear and consistent communication within the club, using platforms to keep everyone in the loop. I want to ensure every member feels informed and connected
- Streamlined Event Management: I plan to continue the planning and execution of events, ensuring everything from booking venues to accommodation is done efficiently and early.
- Long- Term Club growth: This year I am committed to creating lasting positive impacts for our club, ensuring its sustainability and the growth of new members.
As I look to finish off my University Experience, I would be grateful for your support to continue to build and support the club.
Jallen :)
