Hello! I’m Jena. I am currently a content writer for Swapabee LTD, which means I create and design targeted articles that aim to engage with the environmental community on social media and web channels. I have also been featured in Phantom media with one of my environmental articles and therefore have gained an understanding of current sustainability issues. I am passionate and inspired to create a more sustainable place for university of Derby students, as well as generally making a positive change.
Things i'm really passionate about include:

Making the University Hedgehog friendly, which includes making gaps in fences or hedges which creates the hedgehog highway to new food, water and habitat.

Making Students more aware of sustainability issues in and around University as a means to motivate them to create change.

Looking at ‘free items’ handed out by the University, and attempting to reduce waste.
My main aim is to listen to ideas and issues raised by students and make the University a place we are proud of.
