My name is Charlie Nuland and I am a first-year MSc Occupational Therapy student, an Interprofessional Learning Representative, and an aspiring leader in healthcare. I am running for the position of Part-Time Officer for Allied Health & Social Care.
What I aim to do:
- Understand the challenges facing students in Health, Social and Community Work, Occupational Therapy, and Radiography
- Use my advocacy experience to listen to your voice, amplify it, and make it heard by those who have the power to act and make the changes you want to see
- Utilise my developing leadership skills to campaign for and influence change across Allied Health & Social Care at the University of Derby
I bring with me experience of arranging events as a member of the Parent Teacher Association at my daughter's school. I also have a Professional Mentor and Coach at the height of their careers in the field of Health and Social Care, both ready to support me to be the best student representative that I can be.
