Lori Jeria-Medina

Hi!

My name is Lori Jeria-Medina and I am a first year student at the University of Derby. I study Forensic Psychology, and would like to dedicate my future career to helping others, and helping re-shape views towards people with disabilities, as well as to create more opportunities for the disabled community.

As a disabled student, I feel that representation on the NUS delegate board would be important, as there are so many people in this world who are affected or know someone who is affected by a disability at any one time. This includes people like me who have chosen to attend university and earn a degree.

I believe that being a NUS delegate would provide me with the opportunity to raise the concerns of disabled students, as well as to vote and take into account the wants and needs of this community.

My aims are -

- To be a fair representative for all disabled students at the university.

- To ensure that disabled students’ voices are heard.

- To support my peers in making fair judgement and decisions concerning all issues raised.

Please vote for Lori Jeria-Medina as NUS Delegate.
