Accessiblity of course resources has been a major issue over the last year. I will campaign for more reading list books to be made available online. Many of these are currently only available as physical copies due to age of the texts, however as they are listed as essential reading every effort should be made to make them more widely available.
Mental health is something many have struggled with over the last 12 months. It is my aim to work with both the student union and the university, in order to provide more counselling services and to explore ways that we can make these more accessible to students.
I will promote more ways for students to engage with both the student union and university. This is with the aim of increased communication and input from students with regards to decisionmaking. I want to hold regular drop in sessions where individuals can give feedback and enable the university to improve for all.
