President Manifesto

My aims

•To Bridge the gap between BUCS and development

•To work alongside Dom the VP of activities to provide S&C for all bucs teams

•To have members feel comfortable to reach out to committee and ask for help/advice etc

•To expand the club even more and promote our social membership

•For each BUCS team to have an individual coach

•For development girls to have more input into their sessions – take a survey so we can find out more about what is wanted

Why me?

I am putting myself forward for the role of president as I want to be involved in the progression and expansion of the club.

As I have already been apart of committee as the charity officer for a year, I have a lot of knowledge about how the club runs.

I have also been heavily involved in the organisation and running of events and activities such as karaoke, life's a beach, spook about, pie a netballer, 56 miles for refugee, foodbank volunteering, the Macmillan coffee morning and many more.

My previous experience within committee has allowed me to see what will be expected from myself and has given me an insight into how I would take on the role myself as I have seen what has gone well this year and what I could change.

As well as that I have already built good relationships and connections with people outside of the club, like the sports council, the union, mukky duck, pop world, hideout and other clubs and societies.

I am also a member who is both active in going to training and heavily involved with the netball side but also take part in all events that are held, attends all of the charity events and volunteering, and attends nearly every social. Meaning I can see and relate to the needs of every member of the club whether they are in netball for the social aspect or are in netball to play competitively.
