Hi, my name is Ollie, and I'm running for Senior Captain this year.
You've probably all seen me around the club. Still, for those who haven't, I've been rowing for 7 years now at a few different clubs before coming to Derby Uni. I want to think I'm a very approachable person and very bubbly and bring a positive attitude to everyone's rowing experience.
In the coming years, I want to grow our squad by introducing more people to rowing and improving our senior squad to win more events locally and at BUCS Head/Regatta. Hopefully, in doing this, we can grow the club, allowing us to enjoy it more and be more competitive, pushing one another on.
