Why I should be vice-president of the club?
I feel I should be vice-president of the club as I have shown a great deal of teamwork throughout the year whether its speaking to the social secs to book a common room or if it’s in the club itself by helping set up and put away kit for training and games.
I feel communication is the biggest factor within this role as it requires speaking to the club captain and doing what they want to improve the club in general. I feel like I have great communication skills and I am very vocal which means I can get my point across this is a massive factor as you don’t want a vice-president who won’t be taken seriously or listened to, and I feel like I am respected and welcomed with in the club.
Vice versa I feel like I respect everyone in the club massively and I am very welcoming so if anyone had a problem within the club with anything personal or generally, I feel they could come to me, and I could take it to the president and together we could resolve these problems
Also, I feel if any occasion were the club president isn’t available to do his role, I feel I have the correct skills in order to change my position slightly and adapt to the leading role whiles the president is absent.
Conclusion
Overall, I feel like I have the correct communication skills, teamwork and adaptivity needed for this role in order to assist in the planning and delivery of club activities and provides support where needed
