Treasurer Manifesto

OVERVIEW

I am Owen. I am running for treasurer of the Musical Theatre Society. I think I would be well suited for this role as I am a rather frugal person. I budget myself well and feel as though I could pass that through for a society. My aim as treasurer would be to increase the society's budget whilst also allowing us to perform in all the ways we usually would (putting on multiple performances in the year, going out to socials, making profit for the next year to use).

ISSUES AND GOALS

It is no secret that the society this year has struggled with money. We were unable to choose Grease as our full show because of our monetary constraints. As our treasurer, I would hope to work closely with the rest of the committee to increase funds for the society so that in future we could put on whichever show we wish. This could be through the form of raising money at social events (e.g. Friary Quiz Night) or through raising money at our performances with snacks and drinks being sold.
