About myself:
Hello, im Henrik fairchild,im a foundation year student learning criminology and law, i came from a warhammer club where i would run events and play all sorts of warhammer games like AoS and Quest while also playing quite a few warhammer video games like Total war, dawn of war, vermintide 2 and battlefleet gothic. The warhammer society is the first society i joined and i have not missed a day that the society been active (mondays and thursdays). If you met me before then you might know that i am a friendly person who has a tzeentch daemon army, i currently play AoS and bloodbowl but am currently learning 40K and warcry. You might also know that i teach people how to play blood bowl.
Why i should be elected as social Secretary:
as most know in the society i'm very experienced in running warhammer related events from either Age of sigmar, 40K or even blood bowl which in my home warhammer club i was one of 3 people that managed and hosted events which could have at most 20 people in one tournament so im very ready and used to the stress of running event even when things go wrong like someone dropping out, a disagreement or a tie at the end. So with my past experience and my ability to create events that suit all society’s i hope that we could help improve our image with the other societies. As a foundation student i have alot of spare time to allocate to the society and wish to help the society and its member in anyway i can from either providing assistance during games and providing events that keeps warhammer fun and hopefully bring more people to the tabletop game.
If elected i have 4 objectives i wish to complete during my time:

Objective 1: to take suggestions and listen to the members of the society on ideas of events that could be possible like trips to warhammer world and maybe a “Viewing party” of warhammer shows on warhammer+

Objective 2: To provide more events between societies to hopefully brighten our reputation and bring more people to warhammer

Objective 3: to provide rules assistance during in-room events to help sort disputes on rules either during tournaments or if asked for so its fair for everyone

Objective 4: to possibly run new tournaments for the club if enough people are interested like a horus heresy tournament or a necromunda event.
How would i achieve my 4 objective during my time?:

Objective 1: By asking people within the society or discord on what events they want to see and talk to other society committee members on what events both society could do together to show the aspects of both sides

Objective 2: by talking to other committee members and being a friendly face for our society when collab events happen and hopefully they might get curious on the warhammer hobby

Objective 3: this objective would be easy to achieve for me as i always attend to the warhammer society days and with the rule book that the society provides i can easily attend and assist with rules when needed/asked for.

Objective 4:i will use the discord Role reactions and asking within the chat room to see how many people would be interested in a tournament for certain games so we dont just do a 40K and AoS, we could do Necromunda, Horus Heresy or even Warcry/Killteam if people wish for it and have the people for it.
What can i bring to the warhammer society?:
There is many skills and abilitys that i can bring to the society if elected, i have experience in running events for large and small groups and with my experience within other societies i already have friends in a few other societies giving me a insight on what each society likes to see. Im currently not a committee member but am currently running a blood bowl tournament in the near future within the society providing my tournament experience which already shows the confidence of the current committee in my abilities to run a tournament. Hopefully my friendly nature and my knowledge of 40k and AoS lore can be a good skill for the position when talking to either members or talking about the games with newbies of the society/the hobby. Plus i played a majority of warhammer games and video games so i have plenty to talk about.
Thank you for reading my manifesto, my only wish is to help the society and its members in anyway i can and whoever gets the role will do a good job and that will be enough for me as long as the members of the society is happy.
