A visionary Leader who focuses on continuous self-growth and contribution to the society.
I am running for this prestigious position to contribute my quota to the Nigerian Community in Derby and to ensure it continues to exist/improve year on year. I pledgeto ensure the student’s voices are heard for a better experience at the University of Derby. Going by my precedent of being a Student Representative in my undergraduate days and currently in my discipline here in Uniderby, I can say without any iota of doubt that I understand the needs/problems faced by students and I also know the channels to get them resolved. I will ensure the issues faced by students in transportation and parking is squarely tackled.
Being familiar with our educational system back home, I will ensure we organize Academic workshops to help our members counter low academic standards.
The interaction between Home and International students with strengthened.
