The Union of Students and University are offering a free trip to Bletchley Park for students. This is a great opportunity for you to explore one of Britain’s best kept secrets, and get to know some of your fellow students at the same time. You will have access to all the fascinating exhibits and secrets Bletchley has to offer.
Here’s all the information you need to know:
When? Saturday 23rd February, 2019. Pick up is from 67 Bridge Street, Derby DE1 3LD at 9.00am, and the bus will leave Bletchley to return to Derby at 2.30pm (to arrive in Derby approx 4.00pm). Please be at Bridge Street no later than 8.45am for a prompt departure.
Where? Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire.
What are the organised activities? Access to Bletchley Park and a self-guided tour of the buildings and exhibitions.
What’s included? The coach to and from Bletchley Park, entry to the museum and facilities.
You will need to bring a packed lunch and adequate water for the day, we would also suggest bringing a small amount of money should you wish to buy anything from the shop.
Due to the layout of the buildings and exhibits you will need to walk outside in order to see everything on offer. We would suggest bringing a waterproof just in case, and adequate clothing for colder temperatures.
Who can go: There are 44 places available to any Derby Uni students, if you study at one of our many non-Derby city sites, let us know when booking your ticket and we'll get transport sorted.
Should you book on to the trip, we will return your deposit after you have attended. Should you not attend the trip after booking, your deposit will not be returned.
