This is an event for Wobble Week which has been organised by Kaeda your VP (Welfare), and it is being ran by the Union of Students Advice Team.
The Union of Students runs a free, confidential, and completely independent from the University advice service - open to all University of Derby students, including Buxton, online learners, and those at partner colleges.
They offer impartial advice and support on a wide range of issues, including:
- Academic concerns - appeals, academic offences, disciplinary procedures, and anything affecting your studies.
- Student conduct - complaints, grievances, and disciplinaries.
- Money matters - budgeting, Student Finance England, and grants.
- Housing - landlord disputes, contract checks, and disrepair.
- Wellbeing - signposting, additional consideration, and authorised breaks.
- Sexual health & relationships - including access to the C-Scheme.
- Sexual violence support - via our trained SVLOs (Sexual Violence Liaison Officers).
