Elections Manifesto Workshops

Elections Manifesto Workshops

If you are thinking of standing in the Elections and need to get your nomination in, then this session will tell you all you need to know!

Mon 15 Jan 2018 09:00 - Tue 30 Jan 2018 15:00, University of Derby (Various Locations)

A manifesto is a public declaration of what you want to achieve during your term of office. It will be available on the online voting module for students to look at and inform on their decision of who to vote for.

Students will use your manifesto to measure your achievements throughout your term of office and to hold you to account. It is therefore very important that your aims and promises made on this document are both realistic and measurable. Your manifesto statements should be related to the position you are applying for and be of benefit to the students.

Come along to the session to learn more about the roles available and how to write the best manifesto possible!
