Union Sports are overseen by the Sports Council – a group of elected students that have specific areas to develop and improve in order to improve the sports offering for all of our students at Derby.
Most of our clubs give you the chance to play sport competitively against other universities in the British Universities and Colleges (BUCS) league. Last year saw our Badminton, Netball and Football teams winning their leagues, as well as bringing home a stack of medals in the BUCS Individuals competitions.
