Midwifery

Book club's first face to face lunchtime meet was brilliant. Being able to discuss 'The Host' in person together really made a difference to the quality of the interaction and being able to use the University library space really makes you remember why physically being in University is so beneficial to students. Thank you to our members who joined the group meeting!

Book 3 of the MidSoc Book Club is, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. This has been set to read from March to May, giving our members plenty of time to enjoy the book! Happy reading!

We are finally having our 1st face to face book club meeting on Friday 11th March at 12pm in the University library. We will be discussing our 2nd book, 'The Host' by Stephenie Meyer.  In this meeting we will also discuss the book schedule for the rest of this year.

After asking the society members we have decided to start a book club under MidSoc Wellness to help us to unwind in our down time.

We had many reccomendations, so this also went to a vote on our members page.

The 1st book we will read as a club is: The German Midwife by Mandy Robotham (Also published under the name: A Woman of War)

We will start this book as soon as possible and arrange a meet to discuss the book in January after placement and Christmas!

Happy Reading :)
