Student Safety
Project Summary
This project is about making sure you feel safe and supported both on campus and across the city.
We’ll work with students and local partners to understand the safety issues that matter to you, identify risks and make positive changes. The aim is to help you feel more confident navigating student life, wherever you are.
Objective
Students feel safe in the city and on campus
Key Results:
- 80% of students report feeling safe and supported at Union affiliated nights
- 80% of students report feeling safe commuting to campus.
- 100% of safety issues will be actively addressed.
- Deliver two tangible safety improvements in the city in collaboration with the University of Derby and Derby City Council
