President

Hi! My name is Izzy and I am the President of the TaeKwon-Do committee. I am currently studying biomedical science.

I joined TaeKwon-Do at the start of last academic year and am currently a beginner. I decided to join after seeing the stall at freshers week and going to a give it a go session that I really enjoyed.

I work as a lifeguard at a local leisure centre and I like swimming.

Vice-Presient

Hi! my name is Kristians and I am the Vice president of the TaeKwon-Do committee. My role as the Vice president is to ensure that the club functions well and to support other committee members in their roles. I am currently studying Forensic Science.

I joined TaeKwon-Do in October of 2022 after going to a free give it a go session, the training was fun while still being fairly challenging, which I really enjoyed as I like overcoming challenges. The other members were also very friendly.

In my free time I also enjoy other sports such as weightlifting, I also like riding my motorcycle in my spare time.

Maja

Treasurer

Hello! I'm Maja and I am the treasurer of the TaeKwon-Do committee. My role as treasurer is to handle the finances of the club. I am a PhD student with geology focused research.

I joined TaeKwon-Do in October 2023 and am currently a beginner. I joined TaeKwon-Do after trying it out in a Give It a Go session and enjoying it. I have always wanted to join this sport society but never had an opportunity to, and I am glad it meets and exceeds my expectations. The trainings provide me with an opportunity to do some exercise after a long research day. People here are also very chill and friendly, which is great for socialising and relieving stress.

I also play volleyball, travel, and go on hikes in my spare time. I enjoy playing RPG games, visual novels and reading.
